State law now requires all businesses with five or more employees to either offer a retirement savings vehicle from the private market or facilitate CalSavers. The deadlines for employers to register roll out over a three-year period based on the size of a business:
More than 100 employees: Sept 30, 2020
More than 50 employees: June 30, 2021
5 or More employees: June 30, 2022
In this workshop you will learn about the CalSavers Retirement Savings Program and how to comply with the State’s new requirement that employers provide their employees with access to a qualifying retirement savings vehicle.
